Our Mission Statement...
Our mission as educators
and performers is to provide high-quality, age-appropriate educational programs for the purpose of enrichment
and reinforcement in the preschool venues.
As we produce new programs each year, we will endeavor to present
interactive programs that will help stimulate cognitive brain function, develop the imagination, exercise the
body and shape the character of our young audience members.
We see ourselves as
"helpers" to those who teach young children.
Our History...
Bert and Joanne Midyette (the husband and wife team) live in Shelby, NC. For 12
years, they traveled throughout North Carolina, South Carolina, Northern Georgia and Eastern Tennessee presenting character
education assembly programs in schools, motivational reading programs in libraries, inspirational programs for Upward
sports events in churches and educational programs in day care centers and preschools.
In 2001, they began teaching with the Smart Start Enrichment Program in North Carolina day
care centers and later received training with the First Steps Program in South Carolina. While researching and developing curriculum workshops
for day care workers, they saw the need to produce more high-quality enrichment programs for the 2-5 year old age
group. During the summer of 2007, they began transitioning from elementary-aged audiences to preschool audiences.
Bert and Joanne have a heart for young children and earnestly desire to assist in their growth and
development through enrichment activities. Their hope is to help motivate preschoolers to be the very best "miniature
people" they can be!
