Programs for Ages 2-5

"Lights, Action, Music!"
(January - March)
"Bob the Bear" plays a guessing game with the audience, "La La Lamb" takes center stage in his singing debut and some colorful surprises appear in a big black hat. Bert plays his "banjo-lele" while Jo gets the audience up and moving with some familiar tunes.  IF YOU TAKE A MOUSE TO THE MOVIES is the featured children's book in this action-packed adventure of sights and sounds!

                                                                                                            "Beetles, Bugs, and Butterflies"
(April - May)
Everybody knows that nature "comes alive" in the spring - especially bugs!  Bert and Jo take the audience on an imaginary nature hike and meet some interesting and colorful creatures along the way.  "Junie June Bug" shows up a little early in the season to teach us how crickets chirp!   "Clarissa the Caterpillar" becomes a beautiful butterfly in a touching story about never giving up!

"Motion in the Ocean!"
 (June - August)
Something exciting is happening in the ocean this summer! Bert and Jo follow "Dougie Dolphin" and " Maggie Manta Ray" on an imaginary deep-sea adventure through the sparkling waters of the ocean  to learn some interesting facts about those fascinating creatures who live beneath the surface.

                                                                        "Fun on Wheels!" 
(September-November)
Bert and Jo feature an assortment of vehicles in action songs, interactive games and colorful picture books. Friendly puppets explain the usefulness of  various modes of travel while the children experience truckloads of  ...FUN ON WHEELS!

"The Star of Christmas"
 (December)
Bert and Jo take the audience on a make-believe journey into space and history to learn scientific facts about stars. Along the way, they meet a puppet friend who tells the story of the first "Christmas Star". 
Traditional Christmas tunes, colorful magic routines, interactive games and storytelling highlight this very special Christmas program.

We present a different program each quarter, plus a special Christmas program each December!
